Set between episodes 35 and 36 of the TV series, the third Dai no Daibouken film opens with Dai and his fellow adventurers resting after another victory over Hadlar's warriors and the rescue of the princess. They are helping rebuild the island village, unaware that Hadlar has been overthrown by a new demon lord named Galbus. Galbus sends his own group of six champions to finish Dai off for good. In their first surprise strike, Dai's friend Maam has her soul taken, and to recover it Dai and his companions must bring the fight to Galbus on the battleground he has chosen. Expect an action fantasy adventure built around that rescue.
