You know what this is: a middle finger to the series ending wrapped in the best comedic timing the show ever managed. Amadeus telling off Seiglinde is the one scene everyone who watched Dragonaut remembers wanting to see, now delivered in full. This special exists to let the cast breathe after the source material wore them down, and it knows exactly who it's for.

Dragonaut: The Resonance Special is a single episode, the 26th of the series, which never aired on television and was instead included on the final DVD release in 2008. It carries the franchise's blend of action, mecha, romance and science fiction.
