SYNOPSIS
Ai Yasumi is a first-year high school student living on Izu Oshima, an island where manga exists mostly in her imagination. A voracious reader, she spends her days lost in stories until a moment of inspiration flips everything: what if she could create her own? Armed with nothing but determination and a blank page, Ai throws herself into learning the craft of manga-making. The island becomes her unlikely studio, and soon she's wrestling with panel layouts, character designs, and the brutal reality that loving manga and making it are two entirely different things. Her journey oscillates between comedic disasters and genuine breakthroughs as she discovers what it actually takes to bring a story to life.
