Nobody talks about this one. A two-episode OVA from 1998 where three princesses defend a magical pastry that used to matter, watching their childhood responsibility slowly become their entire world. The show moves at the speed of quiet realization, letting you understand what it costs to inherit something that isn't yours to choose. There's no spectacle here, no rescue. Just three people figuring out who they are when duty and love point in different directions.

The Efficus Manjuu once stood at the base of a kingdom. These days it does a humbler job, supplying the spending money of the realm's three princesses. When it comes under threat, the princesses have to take up its protection themselves. The two-episode OVA from 1998 is a loose adaptation of a Genki dating simulation game.
