Disappointment becomes permission to notice what was already there. Kokona walks the same path she always has, but this time the show stops to let memory reshape every corner into something that matters. This OVA knows the real climb isn't up a mountain, it's the one you make by standing still long enough to see what you've already built.

On the last day of summer vacation, Kokona's plans with her mother fall through when work gets in the way. Rather than mope indoors, she heads out for a walk along a familiar route, passing places she once visited with her mother, where every corner brings back fond memories. Later, in the middle of autumn, Hinata and Aoi are flipping through a scrapbook from their childhood. Poking around Aoi's room, Hinata finds an odd acorn that Aoi has saved as a memento, though the reason behind it has slipped away. As the find stays on her mind, old recollections return and lead her back to a half-forgotten event from when they were small. Split into two stories, this comedic slice-of-life OVA shows the girls treasuring past moments while making new ones worth remembering.
