A virtual world held within the scub coral collapses, and its people suddenly appear on Earth. For ten years, those arrivals, who call themselves Green Earth, and the original humans of Blue Earth have clashed again and again beneath the surface. Dewey Novak, a senior Green Earth military officer, eventually rises with his allies and sets a sweeping terrorist plot in motion to defend their pride. Eureka, blamed by the world as the root of the turmoil, now fights as an elite soldier in the UN's A.C.I.D. unit, choosing to keep the peace as her way of making amends. One day she is ordered to guard Iris, a girl who can command the scub coral. The two quarrel at first, but a lonely flight together slowly draws them closer as the world heads toward crisis. The film mixes mecha action with drama and science fiction.
