Nobody watches this. That's the real problem, it's locked behind a game disc most fans will never touch. But if you find it, you get a breather between the AO timeline collapsing around Ao, a moment where the mecha actually feels like the fun part of the story instead of the weight of it. The tone shift is jarring enough that it splits the fanbase, but that's also why it matters: it reminds you that Eureka Seven AO was willing to stop explaining itself and just let you exist in the world for thirty minutes. It's the show admitting it knows you're tired.

Generation Bleu sends Team Pied Piper to a special festival in Switzerland as part of its public relations efforts. Fleur and Elena make Ao disguise himself as a girl, much to his annoyance. While at the event, the three spend their time fleeing a persistent reporter, until they are summoned back to fight a Secret that has appeared at the Italian border. The single mecha action episode takes place between episodes eight and nine of the Eureka Seven AO series. It was released on a Blu-ray Hybrid Disc that also contains a Eureka Seven AO game for the PlayStation 3.
