SYNOPSIS
A modern girl named Suzuko survives a catastrophic explosion that should have killed her, only to regain consciousness in Japan's turbulent Sengoku period, five centuries in the past. Stranded in a world of samurai and constant warfare, she's rescued by a fierce young warrior whose protective nature both helps and frustrates her as she struggles to make sense of her sudden displacement. As Suzuko adjusts to life without electricity or modern conveniences, fragmented memories of her past begin surfacing. The pieces don't add up. Why does she remember things that shouldn't be possible? Why did the explosion send her backward through time at all? Just as she starts piecing together answers, violence erupts. Another temporal shift catapults her forward to the present day, leaving her caught between two worlds and desperate to understand what she really is.
