Fifteen-year-old Kaho Nikaidou comes from an influential family, so nobody has ever dared to be unkind to her. Hoping to be treated like anyone else, she leaves home for a high school dormitory in Tokyo. Soon after she arrives, she drifts into traffic and is rescued by a tall, good-looking stranger, who calls her weird and walks off. That rare rudeness wins her heart. When she finds him again, she learns he is Kanade Takahashi, the son of her new landlord, and she confesses. He agrees to date her, but warns that his secret may change her mind: he is a fifth grader. Kaho means to end things, yet the more time she spends with her immature but kind boyfriend, the more she cares about him. The result is a comedic romance about her first steps into love.
