Nobody talks about this one. Three episodes of pure animal storybook comfort, the kind of thing that existed before "cozy anime" became a brand you could monetize. Foxwood is just small creatures living small lives, solving small problems, and somehow that absence of stakes is exactly what makes it work. Watch this when you need to remember that a story doesn't need to save the world to matter. It just needs to matter to the people in it.

Harvey the hedgehog, Rue the rabbit and Willie the mouse share a home inside a windmill in the peaceful town of Fox Wood, and the three friends get into a number of adventures together. The short OVA series runs three episodes and adapts the Foxwood Tales, a line of children's picture books by the British authors Cynthia and Brian Paterson.
