This is a recap special that actually earns the emotion it's wrapping up. The soundtrack takes series themes and past opening songs and weaves them back in at moments that land, it's not just reminding you what happened, it's making you feel why it mattered. You need to have watched the original series first, but if you have, this hits different because it's built on the weight of what you already know, not trying to prove anything new.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Reflections is a one-episode special from 2005 that looks back over the events of the Fullmetal Alchemist television series. Rather than telling a new story, it revisits what came before, and it carries the franchise's mix of adventure, comedy, drama and fantasy.
