Galactic Divine Wind Jinraiger is a mecha TV series tied to the J9 trilogy of robot anime that aired in the early 1980s. Produced by the private group GDW Project, it aims to keep the flavor of those earlier shows while bringing in a completely original cast and story. Braiger, Baxingar and Sasuraiger each drew on a different source of inspiration, and this entry takes the Chinese classic novel Water Margin as its motif.
