Nobody talks about this one. A late-90s OVA bundled with a Saturn game has no reason to matter now, yet Game Tengoku burns through its single episode like it has something to prove, cramming absurdist action and comedy into a velocity that most full series never reach. The whole thing moves like someone's fever dream of what arcade energy looks like animated, all momentum and no apology. It's a relic that feels dangerous because it was never trying to be safe.

Game Tengoku: THE GAME PARADISE! is a single-episode OVA from 1997. It was not sold separately: it came packaged with a special limited release of the Game Tengoku video game for the Sega Saturn. Its genres place it as a comedic action adventure tied to that game.
