Two arcade burnouts get yanked into a real war because they're inexplicably the chosen ones, and the movie commits entirely to how absurd that actually is. The gap between playing Street Fighter II in a devastated 2010 Seoul and suddenly being told you're humanity's last hope never closes, it just keeps getting wider. Chun-Li showing up to recruit you is the joke and the entire movie at once.

The year is 2010, and World War III has left the planet in ruins, with most of its people dead. Soryong and Saeng pass their days at the arcades, playing Street Fighter II and brawling with each other. Then Chun Li shows up in the flesh and tells the two friends that they alone can keep Bison from seizing control of the world. The result is a feature-length mix of action and comedy built on a video game premise.
