The deception hits different when you realize it's not a trap, it's a prediction. Oarai doesn't just react to what BC Freedom threw at them, Yukari sees through the bluff to the truth underneath, and suddenly the whole tournament becomes a game of who understands their opponent better than their opponent understands themselves. Tank warfare becomes psychology becomes strategy, and by the time the actual battle starts, half the war is already over in someone's notebook.

Oarai's tank crew falls for a clever deception by BC Freedom High and ends up facing a very different battlefront than they expected. Yukari reasons that a bluff so many people could pull off so easily must rest on some truth, and Oarai plans to undercut the ground beneath its opponents. After beating BC Freedom, the team learns that Momo Kawashima is caring for her family while studying for university exams, and they resolve to win the Winter Continuous Track Cup for her sake. The second round then sends them into a dense jungle against Chi-Ha-Tan Academy, whose new tactics from Haru Fukuda put Oarai in a tight spot despite their caution.
