Nobody expects a parody of Glass no Kamen to work, least of all one that shrinks the entire tragedy into three episodes of pure delinquent chaos. Maya and Ayumi fighting to lead a gang instead of fighting over the stage is absurd enough, but the show commits completely, treating gang hierarchy with the same operatic intensity the original treats theater. It's a premise so stupid it becomes brilliant, which is exactly what a real fan of the source material would want to see mocked.
