Hiro, a young boy, picks up what looks like a broken lighter in an empty field. The lighter is actually Gold Lightan, a robot that fell to Earth from the Robot Dimension. Whenever Ivalda the Great sends his evil robots to attack, the compact lighter changes into a giant super robot, the Golden Warrior, by traveling along the Rainbow Road.
