Three girls with completely incompatible powersets, one's too strong, one shoots, one does science magic, have to actually figure out how to work together against villains that make no sense. The movie treats this like a real problem instead of glossing over it. You watch them fail at coordination, adapt, fail differently, and slowly become something that actually works.

Three heroines band together to form the Guardy Girls, a fledgling superhero team. Silvia brings overwhelming physical strength to the table, Laurie wields firearms with devastating precision, and Fumi rounds out the roster as a magical girl with a scientific bent. Their new venture pits them against a lineup of strange, eccentric villains, and brings them face to face with other heroes as well. For the three of them, it marks the opening of an ambitious and demanding dream: a run as heroes. Expect a feature-length film built around action as the team takes its first steps.
