Championship teams don't stay hungry. Sekai and his crew are the best, they've already won, and now they're just here to test some corporate equipment on an island full of other builders who want exactly what they have. The real fight isn't about proving you're the strongest anymore, it's about staying sharp when winning has already happened, and watching a team that's already broken the ceiling get pulled back into the ring by circumstance instead of ambition changes what victory even means.

Twelve months after taking the national Gunpla Battle title, Team Try Fighters gets a call from Yajima Trading asking them to come to an isolated island and test a new battle system the company has built. When Sekai and Fumina get there, they learn that Gyanko, Shia and Minato were invited too. Yuuma skips the trip to help Mirai with a photoshoot, only to find out he has ended up on the same island as his teammates. At the Nielsen Lab, something goes wrong with the new Plavsky particles: they form an enormous crystal, and the Gunpla on the island stop responding to control. The fighters must team up to keep the crystal from damaging Gunpla Battle Systems everywhere. The story is told in a single OVA episode of mecha action.
