Condensing two seasons into one film means every scene earns its place, every sword swing matters, and Chizuru's survival becomes urgent instead of melodramatic. The action animation is sharp enough that you forget this started as a romance game, and by the final confrontation, you're watching a historical tragedy, not a dating sim cutscene. SYNOPSIS
Kyoto burns with hidden conflict. By day, the Shinsengumi police force maintains order through steel and tradition.
