SYNOPSIS
Chiyome and the Shinsengumi find themselves trapped in an ordinary world where swords stay sheathed and supernatural threats are nowhere to be found. Instead of battling demons and protecting Kyoto, these legendary warriors navigate the absurd challenges of everyday life: cooking disasters, failed love confessions, and the eternal struggle to look intimidating while wearing ridiculous outfits. What happens when intense samurai are forced to be normal people? Chaos, mostly. Friendships deepen over mundane complaints. Rivalries simmer during group outings. The bonds that were forged in blood and danger get tested by something far more dangerous: boredom and each other's terrible habits. This comedic reimagining strips away the dark fantasy elements that define the franchise and asks a simple question: who are these characters when there's nothing left to protect anyone from? The answer is messier, funnier, and somehow more human than anyone expected.
