Yuuto discovers Haruka's secret obsession with anime and manga, and suddenly the untouchable girl at school becomes a real person. The comedy comes from watching her panic at the idea of exposure, not from cheap fanservice. Two people who should never have crossed paths find out they're speaking the same language, and the show mines genuine warmth from that collision without ever pretending it's deeper than it is.

Yuuto Ayase leads an unremarkable school life until a trip to the library reveals something he never expected. Haruka Nogizaka, the untouchable girl everyone worships, is secretly devoted to anime, manga, and otaku culture. She's not the perfect idol her classmates imagine. Her polished image is a role she plays to hide who she really is. Yuuto promises to keep her secret, and an unlikely friendship grows as he supports her hidden hobby while their relationship develops. Because Haruka is the school's biggest celebrity, her closeness with an ordinary boy like Yuuto makes both of them a constant topic of gossip. The romantic comedy mixes lighthearted moments with glimpses of the real Haruka beneath her glamorous exterior.
