A guy who talks to dolls finally meets someone who gets him, except she's gorgeous and wants him to dress her up. Wakana Gojou lives for one thing: crafting intricate Hina dolls with meticulous detail. His obsession isolates him at school, where he struggles to connect with anyone over his niche hobby. Everything changes when Marin Kitagawa, the most effortlessly popular girl in class, catches him sewing in the school's handicraft room. Instead of mocking him, she confesses her own secret passion: cosplay. Her own sewing is hopeless, and Wakana has the skills she needs, so she recruits him to make her costumes. As the two finish one outfit after another, the quiet loner and the outgoing, confident Marin grow closer despite how different their lives are. The result is a romantic comedy with a slice-of-life feel and plenty of ecchi touches.
