Bow is a dog too dumb and too honest to know when he's supposed to fail, so he just keeps wrecking things until something good happens anyway. He's not clever about it. He drools, he barks at the wrong moment, he stumbles into a gangster's apartment and somehow becomes family. The show watches this happen with real affection, never mean about his stupidity, never trying to make him smarter than he is.
A scruffy, dim-witted stray dog named Bow shuffles through life with zero awareness of the chaos trailing behind him. He's not trying to be a hero or save anyone. He is a goofy bull terrier with a black ring around his left eye who drools when hungry, wags his tail when happy and barks when excited, and somehow people end up charmed by him anyway. Schoolchildren, a lonely cartoonist and a gangster family all become part of his life. When the daughter of a rather unimpressive yakuza household takes him in, his silliness keeps turning the house upside down. Her father, the boss, can do little about it, because Bow belongs to the daughter he treasures most. What unfolds is pure comedy born from collision, as Bow's innocent blundering keeps leading to disaster.
