The transformation sequences are so lovingly animated that you forget this is a kids' show for the first five minutes of every episode. The OST wraps around every scene like it was composed specifically for that moment, not just looped in behind it. Three sisters turning into animals should be disposable magical girl fluff, but the show treats each transformation like it matters, each adventure like it's real, each moment of them just existing together like it's worth animating frame by frame. The ending fumbles what could have been something lasting. What remains is a show that understood the magic isn't in the transformation itself, it's in having someone to transform with.

Twins Riko and Rimu Mikogami come across a strange device while searching for a runaway cat. The gadget lets them transform into Kirumin, and from there into real animals. Their older sister Nagisa soon joins them. The sisters come from a family of animal researchers, and together with new members they form a detective club, using their animal forms to help people and to take on mysterious foreign villains. What follows is a heartwarming magical girl comedy full of cute, funny and sometimes dangerous adventures.
