A girl so shy she stops talking when panic hits gets dragged into a drama club, and the show treats that as permission to watch her actually change. Asai Mugi is a deeply shy girl starting her first year at Kumataka arts academy, so nervous at times that she cannot get a word out. Unsure which club to join, she catches the attention of Ichinose Nono, president of the tiny Drama Research Society, who hears Mugi's surprisingly loud voice and pushes her to sign up. Mugi eventually gives in, then learns the society plans to stage two plays this year, and with so few members she must take on several roles in both. As time passes, her clubmates gradually change who she is. The result is a gentle school drama with slice-of-life and romance elements.
