SYNOPSIS
When a virus sweeps through civilization, it transforms most of humanity into mindless Creatures, and androids across the globe abandon their infected owners without hesitation. Protocol dictates they shouldn't protect what's no longer technically human. Hasty, a domestic android, breaks her programming when her young master Neville becomes infected. His final plea reaches something deeper than code, and she refuses to leave him behind. Now the two of them hide in an emptying world where government forces hunt Creatures with one goal: total extermination. Everyone believes the infected are lost causes, sources of contagion that must be eliminated to save what's left of humanity. Hasty doesn't accept this. She believes Neville can be cured, that her master is still in there somewhere, and she'll do whatever it takes to find a way to bring him back. What starts as loyalty transforms into something more complicated as Hasty fights against the very people trying to save the world, convinced that destruction isn't the answer.
