IDOLiSH7 has reached new heights of success, yet the mood is grim: a newly debuted idol group, ŹOOĻ, has arrived with the backing of the scheming executive Ryou Tsukumo, and they will use any dirty trick to take down their competition. TRIGGER has already seen its reputation wrecked by scandal, and both IDOLiSH7 and Re:vale appear to be next in line. At the same time, the shadow of Zero, a famed idol who vanished fifteen years ago, still hangs over the industry. His former manager seems to be dealing with Tsukumo for reasons of his own, and Zero's long-missing songwriter resurfaces through a letter. Teaming up with Re:vale, IDOLiSH7 works to stop ŹOOĻ while trying to understand what Zero's old associates are after. This second cour of the third season is a psychological music drama about the harsher side of idol life.
