A loser with a curse gets one impossible shot at love and decides to swing for it anyway. Fuguno Matsuo is 22 and has never had a girlfriend, and a fortune teller has told him he never will. Then he sets eyes on Nagisa-sensei, falls for her on the spot, and starts courting her in earnest. His pursuit gets complicated when Hamaoka, a coworker who has fallen for Fuguno herself, enters the picture, and the three end up in a love triangle.
