A guy buys a maid robot and immediately decides she's his personal dress-up doll instead, and somehow the show makes this funny rather than creepy. The robot has no idea what she's supposed to be doing, he has no idea how to actually own anything, and three episodes of them fumbling through domestic life together becomes a genuinely relaxed hangout. Every episode pivots to a different angle of the same central joke without running it into the ground.

In a near future where robots commonly work for their owners, Takaya Murase buys Yui, a maid android from the distributor MaidWorks. Yui is glad to settle into an ordinary routine of cooking, cleaning and serving her new master. Takaya has something else in mind: he wants to dress her in outfits he has dreamed up and made himself, much to her dismay. The three-episode OVA, adapted from Mizuki Takehito's seinen manga, mixes comedy and sci-fi with a strong dose of ecchi fanservice. It's short, silly, and made for viewers who enjoy comedy with plenty of cheesecake.
