Sesshoumaru has long resented that their father's treasured sword, Tessaiga, went to his younger brother Inuyasha, a half-demon, while he was given Tenseiga, a blade meant for healing. His bitterness grows when he learns that Tenseiga's single destructive technique, which he mastered himself, was always intended to pass to Tessaiga, leaving him feeling cast aside for a brother he sees as unworthy. Naraku, Inuyasha's longtime foe, exploits this anger by offering Sesshoumaru a way to take Tessaiga's power. The brothers end up fighting each other, and the clash will decide whether Inuyasha foils Naraku's plot and earns his brother's recognition or dies by his hand. The 30-minute action special first screened at Rumiko Takahashi art exhibitions in Japan in 2008.
