The island materializes and immediately everything is wrong, four gods descend, and suddenly Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru are fighting on the same side because the threat is bigger than their blood feud. A mysterious island called Hourai reappears after fifty years, and with it comes the attack of four gods, the Shitoushin, who want the powers that protect and sustain the island. She pleads with him to free her friends, orphans held captive by the four demons and marked with an enchanted seal that keeps them from escaping. On the island, the group learns the children are meant to be sacrificed to feed their captors' strength. Inuyasha, his companions and Sesshoumaru must find a way to beat foes stronger than any one of them. The film mixes fantasy adventure with comedy, drama and romance.
