Tony Stark gets framed and hunted by the people he trusted, forced to go ghost in his own armor while a biotech terrorist with a personal vendetta methodically tears through everything he's built. The suit becomes a liability instead of salvation, and every fight costs him more ground to stand on. This is Iron Man stripped of the billionaire safety net, running on nothing but spite and the armor's life support.

Iron Man faces a new enemy in Ezekiel Stane, a villain whose bio-technology appears to surpass the Iron Man armor. Stane carries out a terrorist attack and arranges for Tony Stark to be blamed for it. With S.H.I.E.L.D. hunting him, Iron Man has to stay out of their grasp while he works to clear his name. The story is told as a single action OVA with mecha elements.
