Logan goes to Tokyo for one woman and finds himself caught between yakuza empires, each one willing to break him differently than the last. Logan, known to others as Wolverine, fell in love with a Japanese woman named Mariko while in New York. A year after she vanished, he learns that her father, Shingen Yashida, has taken her to Tokyo against her will. Shingen heads the Kuzuryuu yakuza syndicate and supplies AIM, and he plans to marry his daughter to an influential figure to seal a political alliance. Determined to bring Mariko back whatever it takes, Logan travels to Japan and goes after Shingen, only to find his regenerative abilities put to the test. The result is a twelve-episode action series built around one man's fight against a crime boss.
