A lazy samurai who watches porn and naps through life has bigger dreams than he'll ever act on, and the show knows exactly how funny that gap is. The comedy doesn't punch down at him for being a failure, it lives inside his head where delusion and reality collide every single frame. One episode, no filler, no punchline that overstays its welcome.
Isobe Isobee is a lazy samurai whose big dreams far outstrip his actual effort. He lounges around the house he shares with his mother, dozes off at school, and secretly looks at Edo-period pornography while making sure she never catches him. His mother holds him in high regard, and Isobe insists that someday he will become a respectable samurai. The one-episode comedy ONA is based on Nakama Ryou's shounen manga.
