SYNOPSIS
A tiny Buddhist monk with big ambitions leaves his temple behind for the bustling streets of the city. Chibisuke is small enough to fit in a man's palm, but his spirit burns far larger than his frame. He catches the eye of a powerful Cabinet minister who becomes his patron, amused by the little monk's spirited performances. Life seems settled until duty calls: Chibisuke joins a princess on a journey to Shimizu, tasked with protecting her from whatever dangers the road might bring. When a fearsome mountain demon emerges from nowhere to threaten the princess, Chibisuke discovers that size means nothing when courage runs deep. He hurls himself at the creature again and again, landing blow after blow through sheer determination and cunning. His persistence pays off. After defeating the demon, Chibisuke claims a mysterious artifact left behind: a horn of plenty with the power to transform him completely. In an instant, the pint-sized monk becomes a full-grown man, ready to face whatever comes next.
