Jim Button and his best friend Luke share a home on an island. When Luke has to leave, Jim chooses to go along, and the pair set out with no idea of the dangers hidden in the world beyond. On their travels they hear that a young princess named Lisi has been seized by pirates and carried off to Sorrowland, a land under the rule of the evil and dangerous dragon Grindtooth. Jim and Luke resolve to make their way there and rescue her. The 1974 television series runs 26 episodes and blends adventure with fantasy.
