Kim is a girl in pursuit of a band of thieves known as the Black Hammer Gang. One day the chase lands Kim and the gang on an island that is home to fairies and to Michel, the island's guardian. The gang sets out to steal the Tree of Life, the source of the island's life, and in doing so harms the land and carries off fairies. Michel and Kim must fight the Black Hammer Gang and bring the stolen fairies back. The story unfolds as a fantasy adventure across 26 television episodes.
