Jungle Taitei Leo: Hon-o-ji is an original animated short film, one of several produced for screening at the Tezuka Osamu Animation Theater inside Tezuka Osamu World in Kyoto. It is a single-episode movie in the adventure and drama genres, featuring Leo from the Jungle Taitei franchise, and it was made to be seen at that dedicated Kyoto venue rather than released as a broadcast series.
