A dog born between two worlds watches the life he was given get taken from him, piece by piece. When he finally faces the bear that destroyed everything, it's not a triumph, it's just an animal finishing what nature started. This 1978 special doesn't flinch from that cost, and neither do you.

Fang arrives at a crossroads between two worlds. Born of a hunting dog and an escaped circus wolf, he carries the blood of both captivity and wilderness. Although a human family raises him, Fang remains a wild creature at heart, fated to make his life in nature. After a stint with a circus, he comes back to face his great enemy: an enormous brown bear that killed his family. This 1978 adventure drama sets the opposing fates of people and wild animals against a naturalistic backdrop.
