Hurt is a gifted boy, and his childhood friend Hibana is a flower girl who has dropped out. Since early childhood the two have lived very different lives. As the coming-of-age ceremony nears, Hurt gently encourages Hibana to run away from it, but his words fail to move her. Then an incident drastically alters the course of their lives. Set in the World Tree some years before their journey begins, the story follows what happens to the two inexperienced young people deep in the forest. This single-episode ONA blends action, fantasy, romance and the supernatural.
