The fanservice explodes past anything the main series dares, and if that's your line, this OVA crosses it hard. The voice acting stays sharp enough to sell the absurdity, the character dynamics still land, and then it pivots into a rice-cooking bit that remembers why you actually care about these people. Only for existing fans, newcomers will think this is a completely different show.

The student council members of Shuchiin Academy get up to some odd business away from their official work in this single-episode romantic comedy OVA. Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara head to the showers after a trip to the pool, where a dropped bar of soap leads to a slippery accident. Miyuki Shirogane and Yuu Ishigami come across a thrown-away adult magazine whose pages look strangely like their fellow council members. Chika and Miko Iino then stage a fried rice cooking contest to decide who is the best chef on the council. The episode adapts both chapters of the Darkness spin-off along with Chapter 96 of Aka Akasaka's manga.
