Two kids looking for Atlantis stumble into Captain Nemo's war instead. The show treats a 1981 anime special like it has time to breathe, letting you sit in the Nautilus while the world burns outside. It's Jules Verne filtered through the exact moment anime learned it could do adventure without explaining everything first.

Childhood friends Ben and Ricky sail the world's oceans hunting for the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Their voyage takes a catastrophic turn when their ship goes down. Rescue arrives in the form of Captain Nemo and his submarine, the Nautilus. Meanwhile, above the waves, every nation on Earth is falling to Darius, ruler of the Gabia Empire. The result is a one-off action adventure special from 1981.
