This is a Christmas epilogue that actually remembers who these characters are four months later. Hazumu's caught between two people who love her, except now everyone's grown enough to sit with that without pretending it's a problem. The OVA doesn't resolve the triangle, it just lets you watch them exist together, aliens included, and somehow that's enough.

Christmas comes to Earth four months after the event, and everyone starts preparing for the holiday and the romance it may bring. Even the aliens drop by for a visit. Hazumu, who confessed to Yasuna and was turned down, survived a spaceship crash with an alien's help but became a girl when the body was rebuilt. When Yasuna says she wants to go walking on her own, Hazumu goes to tell Tomari, then waits for Tomari to accept her. Released as an unaired thirteenth episode, this single OVA continues the original series as a romantic comedy drama with a slice of life feel.
