SYNOPSIS
When Kasumi's zoologist parents head to Africa for research, she settles into their sprawling mansion on the edge of town. The place seems normal enough until she discovers the truth: the household staff aren't people at all. They're Henamon, shape-shifting youkai who can transform into everyday objects and living creatures. A talking teapot, an animated broom, a mischievous fox spirit,these eccentric beings become her new roommates. With her parents gone indefinitely, Kasumi strikes a deal to stay in the mansion. In exchange for room and board, she handles the cooking, cleaning, and laundry while navigating life with supernatural housemates who don't quite understand human customs. Days blend together in a peculiar routine of chores, mishaps, and genuine moments of connection as Kasumi learns that her strange new family operates by its own logic. The series finds humor and heart in small domestic moments. Watching a fourth-grader adjust to cohabitation with youkai creates a low-key fantasy where the magical becomes wonderfully mundane.
