This is a city hall anniversary commercial that accidentally lands a lump in your throat. Souta comes back to Soka after years in Tokyo, just trying to find a place he and Miki can start a life in, and the film treats house hunting with the same weight most shows save for a confession scene. Then a bird he shouldn't be chasing leads him to Akiko, who slipped forward out of her own time and is engaged too, staring at a skyline that ate the town she knew. Watching him play tour guide through streets she half recognizes is the whole trick: two people at the exact same threshold, sixty years apart, both scared of the same thing. No spectacle, no twist reveal, just a walk. Fifteen-odd minutes of municipal PR, and you'll still think about Akiko's face when it ends.

Souta was born in Soka but has spent recent years working and living in Tokyo. Now engaged to Miki, he heads back to Soka to find a home where the two of them can settle. While house hunting, he notices a mysterious bird and chases after it, which leads him to Akiko, a woman who has slipped through time into the future. Souta takes her around the city, and she reflects on how much it has changed and on her own future, since she is engaged as well.
