Miki runs a bakery that struggles to attract customers, and her desserts are missing something she cannot pin down. Kazuki is stuck on a curry report for his company, and a coworker tells him his approach to the project is wrong. Kazuki follows that coworker around the city to learn his secret, ending up at a pachinko parlor and a sushi shop. Miki heads out with a friend to a fashion show, the same pachinko parlor and a restaurant. Talking with his coworker, Kazuki recalls a childhood drawing of a red sky and how little he worried back then about standing apart from everyone else. Miki's friend tells her that original ideas take bravery, and Miki remembers her father shoveling snow and telling her that tiresome work is part of pushing through to achieve something. She experiments with new recipes while he does field research, and this short slice-of-life ONA shows how creativity and originality help both of them succeed at work.
