Anime Like Kite
A teenage girl who kills people for a cop because he promised her revenge against her parents' murderers discovers she's not alone in that hell when another orphan assassin shows up. The real story isn't the contracts, it's two broken kids realizing they might survive if they stop being useful to the people destroying them. SYNOPSIS
Sawa moves through her days as a high school student, but her real work happens in the shadows. A corrupt police officer controls her life, assigning targets he claims deserve death for their crimes, and she carries out his orders without question. Her compliance stems from a darker promise: he holds the key to avenging her parents' deaths. When another orphan named Oburi enters her world as a fellow assassin, something shifts. The two teenagers begin to see in each other a mirror of their own broken lives, and slowly, a fragile connection forms. As they spend time together away from their handler's reach, they start imagining an impossible future where violence doesn't define them. But escaping the cycle that created them proves harder than dreaming it. Sawa and Oburi must confront whether two people shaped by murder can ever truly break free, or if their bond is just another tragedy waiting to unfold.
