Ryotsu's back doing what he does best: stumbling into situations where actual competent people are already solving the problem. UFO Shuurai takes the formula that worked, a three-way collision between a lazy cop, a bomb expert who knows what she's doing, and a vigilante with architectural taste, and scales it up to tornado-level chaos. The comedy lives in watching Ryotsu be completely unnecessary while everything around him gets destroyed for all the right reasons.

Ryoutsu returns for another feature-length comedy, bringing more of his big-screen mayhem in this second film spun off from the Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo franchise. The title promises a UFO attack and a tornado operation. It premiered in 2003 and came out on DVD and VHS in July 2004.
