Tetsuro walks into an all-girl school thinking he's won the lottery. By episode two he's piloting a mecha with five girls he barely knows to fight the student council, and the show never breaks character about how absurd this is. The comedy is built on the gap between his escalating panic and everyone else treating interdimensional robot battles like student government, the ecchi is just window dressing for a show that actually commits to its own chaos and never apologizes for the escalation.

Tetsuro arrives at his new high school thrilled about his full scholarship, which takes him far from his family, only to discover he is the lone male student at an all-girls school. That's not his only surprise: a girl there is already deeply in love with him and waiting for him to show up. His close friendship with the lively Asuka lands him in serious trouble with the powerful student council, which is locked in open conflict with Asuka and her five friends.
